چکیده

Morphometric parameters are analyzed and systematized of parasitic nematodes the species Trichuris sylvilagi Tiner, 1950, obtained from Lepus europaeus (Pallas, 1778). The following suggested for exact identification female T. nematodes: sizes body, its anterior posterior parts, width body at connection esophagus intestine, specific location vesicular cuticular protrusions vulva. Five metric established nematode eggs. egg shell thickness, length plug use in addition to Males had strongly curved tail end, long spicule, transparent spicule sheath which bears spines, a bulbous inflation proximal part. thirteen parameters, we found be value males, include various areas, protrusions. Obtained data on studies compared with published data.

Morphological and Molecular Characterization of a New Trichuris Species (Nematoda- Trichuridae), and Phylogenetic Relationships of Trichuris Species of Cricetid Rodents from Argentina

Populations of Trichuris spp. isolated from six species of sigmodontine rodents from Argentina were analyzed based on morphological characteristics and ITS2 (rDNA) region sequences. Molecular data provided an opportunity to discuss the phylogenetic relationships among the Trichuris spp. from Noth and South America (mainly from Argentina). Trichuris specimens were identified morphologically as T...

Nuclear receptors in parasitic nematodes

Introduction One of the most prevalent classes of parasitic organisms is the helminth (parasitic worms), which collectively infect more than 1 billion people worldwide and cause a range of maladies including malnutrition, growth and mental retardation, disfigurement and physical disabilities, and death (1). Helminths that infect humans are generally considered to comprise two major phyla: Nemat...

Multifunctional Thioredoxin-Like Protein from the Gastrointestinal Parasitic Nematodes Strongyloides ratti and Trichuris suis Affects Mucosal Homeostasis

The cellular redox state is important for the regulation of multiple functions and is essential for the maintenance of cellular homeostasis and antioxidant defense. In the excretory/secretory (E/S) products of Strongyloides ratti and Trichuris suis sequences for thioredoxin (Trx) and Trx-like protein (Trx-lp) were identified. To characterize the antioxidant Trx-lp and its interaction with the p...

Atomic force microscopy of plant-parasitic nematodes.

A simple method for atomic force microscopy (AFM) of nematode cuticle was developed to visualize the external topography of Helicotylenchus lobus, Meloidogyne javanica, M. incognita, and Xiphinema diversicaudatum. Endospores of two isolates of the nematode parasite, Pasteuria penetrans, adhering to M. incognita and X. diversicaudatum were also visualized and measured by this technique. Scanning...

Spatial pattern analysis of plant-parasitic nematodes.

Spatial patterns of Meloidogyne incognita, Tylenchorhynchus claytoni, Helicotylenchus dihystera, and Criconemella ornata were analyzed using Hill's two-term local quadrat variance method (TTLQV), spectral analysis, and spatial correlation. Data were collected according to a systematic grid sampling plan from seven tobacco fields in North Carolina. Different estimates of nematode cluster size we...
